Adna B. Fulton Family Scholarship Awards Six Students with $925 Each

The Adna B. Fulton Family Scholarship recently awarded six scholarships to Katherine Bard, Madison Breeden, Abigail Foust, Madalyn Jones, Dominique King and Samantha Kline. Mr. Fulton established this scholarship at the Community Foundation of Washington County MD to provide scholarships to students pursuing a post-secondary education, with preference given to AC&T employees and their children or grandchildren. Fulton schl grpKatherine Bard attends Southern Fulton Jr/Sr High School in Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania, where she participates in Future Farmers of America, Spanish Club and STEM Club. She also volunteers at a local humane society and takes dance. Katherine plans to attend college in the fall and become a physical therapist assistant. She works at AC&T in Hancock.Madison Breeden attends York Technical Institute where she studies veterinary technology. She graduated from North Hagerstown High School last year where she was a varsity cheerleader and cheer captain. Madison competes in jumping competitions with her horse. She works at AC&T.Abigail Foust goes to Penn State Mont Alto where she majors in speech pathology. She serves as a lion ambassador at school and participates in Girl Scouts. Abigail has a grandparent that works at AC&T.Madalyn Jones is a senior at Williamsport High School where she participates in choir, volunteers at Head Start Washington County and works part-time at the Williamsport Redmen Tribe #84. She plans to attend a four-year university and major in nursing. Madalyn has a grandparent that works for AC&T.Dominique King attends Penn State Mont Alto, pursuing a degree in marketing and management. She participates in THON, Penn State's dance marathon that supports pediatric cancer. Dominique works for AC&T.Samantha Kline will graduate from Smithsburg High School with her associate degree from the STEMM Technical Middle College Program at Hagerstown Community College. She participates in Science Club, National Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Samantha will pursue her bachelor’s degree in biology at a four-year university. Her dad works for AC&T.
