Now Accepting Applications: 2025 Responsive Grants

In an effort to encourage collaboration rather than competition among local non-profit organizations, this year’s Responsive Grants will target collaborative partnerships between no fewer than two non-profits for initiatives that address the needs of our community.

Applications will be prioritized based upon the following criteria:

·     Urgency: Programs that address urgent needs within the community

·     Innovation: New and creative approaches in program design

·     Impact: The anticipated impact the program will have in the community

·     Sustainability: The program's ability to continue beyond the grant period

Applicant organizations must be based in and primarily serving Washington County, Maryland, and have a current 501(c) (3) determination from the IRS. Organizations may apply for funding for more than one program; however, each program requires a separate grant application.
