Community Foundation Announces Two New Scholarships

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc announces the creation of two new scholarships that will benefit local students in the spring of 2018.The Washington County Bar Association created a scholarship to help residents of Washington County who are or will be students at the undergraduate or graduate level to assist in the study of the law in pursuit of a legal or paralegal certificate or degree. The Washington County Bar Association Scholarship Fund will present two $500 awards each year. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of academic success and a commitment to community service.The Boonsboro Athletic Boosters created a scholarship to benefit deserving student athletes at Boonsboro High School. They will present two awards each year in the amount of $1,000 to both a male and female student athlete.
