Community Foundation Presents Scholarship at Hagerstown Community College

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD recently awarded the Helen and Gene Kline Scholarship worth $600 to Kristen Miller at Hagerstown Community College (HCC).Kristen Miller 2019The Klines established this scholarship at the Community Foundation in 2005 to benefit students enrolled at HCC majoring in education or engineering. Miller is currently pursuing her associate degree in early childhood education at HCC and plans to transfer to Frostburg State University for her bachelor degree. She hopes to return to Washington County to teach elementary school.
