Community Foundation Seeks Nominations for its Annual People’s Choice Awards

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc. is seeking nominations for its 23rd annual People’s Choice Awards. This award honors individuals from the community who give generously of their time and talents to make Washington County a better place to live. The Community Foundation will recognize three winners. In addition, they will establish a $5,000 endowment fund in each winner’s name for the local nonprofit of their choice.

Additionally, the Community Foundation also honors one individual between the ages of 25-40 who demonstrates a commitment to our community through volunteer and financial support to one or more local charitable endeavors. In honor of the chosen Rising Star winner, who is also recognized by the Foundation, a predetermined contribution is made to nonprofit(s) of their choice.
