Community Foundation Welcomes New Board Member

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD elected Mary Ellis Bowman to its board of trustees at their annual board meeting.Bowman retired in 2016 after a long career in healthcare. Most recently, she worked at Diagnostic Imaging Services for 20 years as an operation specialist. Bowman went to Johns Hopkins School of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and worked for Associated Radiologists, Washington County Hospital and as an adjunct professor for Hagerstown Community College. She is licensed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Bowman is a member of Leadership Washington County Class 31 and serves on the Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village Capital Campaign Committee.Leaving the Community Foundation Board of Trustees this year after six years of dedicated service is Brad Pingrey, M&T Bank Administrative Vice President. “I am so thankful for the time, talents and commitment of all of our board members who serve the Community Foundation,” said Brad Sell, executive director of the Community Foundation of Washington County MD.
