Community Foundation Welcomes Two New Board Members
The Community Foundation of Washington County MD elected Ed Lough and Sabina Spicher as its two newest board of trustee members at a recent board meeting. Ed H. Lough, LUTCF, CLTC, has worked as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual for 28 years. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Frostburg State University. Ed has served on numerous boards, including the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Sunrise Rotary Club of Hagerstown and Maryland Chamber of Commerce. He was on the Maryland Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors for 15 years and is currently the vice president of the Washington County Commission on Aging Board.Sabina Spicher is the director of business strategy and accounts at Spichers Appliances and Security. She graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. Sabina served as a board member and president of Y-Me of the Cumberland Valley (now Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley), president of the Saint James School Parent Association twice and creator and president of Girls on the Run of Washington County. She also coached the girls’ varsity tennis team for over 10 years at Saint James School.
