Robert J. Wells Memorial Scholarship Created at Community Foundation

Joanne Wells recently created the Robert J. Wells Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc. to memorialize her son Rob who passed away in 1998. Rob attended North Hagerstown High School. He lettered in wrestling his freshman year, played on the JV Soccer team and was a member of the National Honor Society.The Robert J. Wells Memorial Scholarship will make its first award in the spring of 2018 to a senior wrestler at North Hagerstown High School who excels in academics and leadership and has left a lasting impression on the wrestling program at the school.Donations can be made in Rob’s memory to the Community Foundation at 37 S.
