Stacey Crawford Becomes New President/CEO of Community Foundation

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc. announces Stacey Crawford as its new president/CEO. Stacey replaces Brad Sell, who retired from the Foundation after 16 years.Stacey CrawfordStacey has both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Towson University. She also has a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership with a focus on nonprofit management from Mountain State University. Stacey most recently served as director of college advancement at Hagerstown Community College (HCC) for the past six years where she was responsible for the management and administration of the HCC Foundation, HCC Alumni Association and an independent volunteer board. While there she worked to cultivate relationships with prospective donors, corporations and foundations to secure major gifts and grants.Prior to HCC, Stacey served as the major gift officer at Meritus Health working with major donors to support capital needs, programs and services at the Hospital. She also has experience as the director of the Frederick County Business Roundtable for Education at the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cumberland.Stacey is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a member of both Leadership Washington County Class 2017 and Leadership Frederick County Class of 2010.She participates in the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Maryland Community College Fundraising Professionals and Rotary Club of Hagerstown.“I am so excited to join the Community Foundation of Washington County as the new president/CEO,” said Stacey. “I look forward to meeting and cultivating relationships with donors, nonprofit organizations, professional advisors and our board of trustees.
